DMCA & Copyright Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
StatusOcean.net (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users and contributors to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and will respond promptly to valid claims of copyright infringement.
1. Our Commitment
We do not knowingly publish content that infringes upon the copyrights of others. Statuses, quotes, and images featured on this site are either originally created, sourced from royalty-free/licensed resources, or represent widely circulated public sayings. If you believe that content on StatusOcean.net infringes your copyright, we encourage you to notify us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that content on our website infringes your copyright, please send a written notice (“DMCA Notice”) to our designated contact including the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the specific URL or page location on StatusOcean.net where the material is located, with enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
3. Where to Send Your Notice
Please send DMCA notices to:
Email: statusocean620@gmail.com Subject Line: DMCA Takedown Request — StatusOcean.net
We will review all valid notices and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the reported content in a timely manner.
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe that content you posted or that identifies you was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to us containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA Notice.
5. Repeat Infringers
We reserve the right, in appropriate circumstances, to remove or restrict content and, where relevant, disable accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers.
6. Content Attribution Requests
If you would prefer that we correct an attribution rather than remove content entirely — for example, if a quote is credited to the wrong author — please contact us with the correct information, and we will update it promptly.
7. Disclaimer
This policy is provided as a general good-faith framework for handling copyright concerns and does not constitute legal advice. Filing a false DMCA notice may result in legal liability for the person submitting the claim.
